The Bichapoo, also called a Bichpoo or Poochon, is a small hybrid created by crossing a Bichon Frise with a Poodle. Bichapoos generally weigh 6–18 pounds and stand 9–15 inches tall. Their soft, wavy or curly coats come in several colors and are often low-shedding.

Affectionate, intelligent, and playful, Bichapoos enjoy companionship and typically respond well to training. They can adapt to different living environments but may experience separation anxiety when left alone for extended periods.

Their coats need daily brushing and regular professional grooming. Consistent ear and dental care are also important. Bichapoos typically live 12–15 years and may be predisposed to conditions such as patellar luxation and certain eye problems.
